Each year road traffic injuries take the lives of 1.2 million men, women and children around the world, and seriously injure millions more. The death is highest and still growing in low and middle-income countries, where pedestrians, motorcyclists, cyclists and passengers are especially vulnerable. There are some advices that we should consider to solve the problem of accident, such as:

  • Don't use mobile phone while driving. Making or receiving a call, can distract your attention from driving and could lead to an accident.

"HOW TO COPE WITH BULLYING IN SCHOOLS"

Bullying is a common problem nowadays, especially among students in school. Most of the primary and also secondary schools will face this kind of social problem and it cannot be avoided. There are three major group that can help to cope with bullying in schools like managemant, parents and the government.
School management is one of the major groups that play an important roles to overcome bullies problem in school. Students spend most of their day time at school, so the environment of the school also influence the students attitude. Teachers and school perfect can surveying and identify the school bullies besides helding a motivational programme about social problems to help student know and reliese what is bullies and other social problem. Other than that, teachers can encourage student to involved with social work and avoid from being a buller and being bullied.
The second group that help to cope the bullying problems in a schools are their own parents. Parents are the one who really know their children inside out. So, parents should spend more time with their children so that children can know that everyone in their family love them. This is because, usually students who involved with bullying problems are the one who feel negleted by their own family and did not feel happy with their lives.
Other than school management and parents, the government also involved in helping to cope with bullying in schools. The first measures that government take to cope bullying problems is by launching a campaign "Say no to bully". In conjuction with that, all of the school in Malaysia also must held their own school "Say no to bully" campaign, through the Ministry of Education. Police Department can help in surveying the rate of bullying problems in schools.
In the nutshell, the government, school management and also parents are the most important group to cope with bullying in schools. With all the cooperations from this three major group, it is obvious that we can curb bullying problems in a short time.

"MAN TO LEAD, WOMAN TO FOLLOW..."

what do you think?

This is a very tricky question. The question aims at equality between man and woman. From a logical thinking, we know that man has more capabilities and endurances which are not found in woman. But this is not the reason why a woman cannot be a leader.

From my views, I think that man has a strong physical strength so that they can do a work better than woman. For examples like exploring, climbing, fighting and all these require courage, bravery and guts. For these situations, I think that man has to be a leader.

As we know, women are the best homemarkers. Their sense of duty, humility, and patience make them really the authority in the house. Women are very responsible and caring with their holdhouse so that they can handle their house very well.
In short, I think that man or woman can be a leader by depends on the situations. Do you agree with me?

The Advantages of Orientation Week

School has gone, now it's a time to study at university...chaiyok2x!..
It was a good news when we knew that we were accepted to register at university. Some students felt very exited and thankful to God because they can continue their future studies. But when they came at the first day of registration, something happen inside their heart..haha..what do they felt actually? Was it nervous? Was it bored? Do not have any friends? Or what?? These are normal feelings for every student in the world. Please believe me..!
From my view,I think it is important for every university to organize orientation week. As I know, one of a university that organize orientation week is University of Teknologi Mara. (I don't know another university so don't blame me as a bias person okey..:-p)
University of Teknologi Mara will held orientation week for every new student at every semester that is called 'Minggu Mesra Siswa' (MMS). MMS gives a lot of advantages for Uitm student to know more about university lifestyle. How to survive our lives at a new place? How to manage our time for studies? How to get more friends? So, we can learn something new from MMS.
MMS also introduce us about administration of Uitm. For examples, Health Department and Finance Department. Besides, it also tell us about the courses that are offered at Uitm. For Uitm Pulau Pinang, the major course is engineering and the other courses are Pharmacy and Hotel Management and Tourism.
Other than that, MMS gives advantage in the field of social life. We can get some of new friends from other countries and so on. So, we can build a new group of study as we make it at school before. Is it interesting, right?
However, I feel sad because some of students still complain about orientation week or MMS. They feel bored and unsatisfied during orientation week. So, how could we do to make it interesting? In short, I think that all of the student must use the opportunity from orientation week to build new life and to be more succesful in the future.Thank you.
