School has gone, now it's a time to study at university...chaiyok2x!..
It was a good news when we knew that we were accepted to register at university. Some students felt very exited and thankful to God because they can continue their future studies. But when they came at the first day of registration, something happen inside their heart..haha..what do they felt actually? Was it nervous? Was it bored? Do not have any friends? Or what?? These are normal feelings for every student in the world. Please believe me..!
From my view,I think it is important for every university to organize orientation week. As I know, one of a university that organize orientation week is University of Teknologi Mara. (I don't know another university so don't blame me as a bias person okey..:-p)
University of Teknologi Mara will held orientation week for every new student at every semester that is called 'Minggu Mesra Siswa' (MMS). MMS gives a lot of advantages for Uitm student to know more about university lifestyle. How to survive our lives at a new place? How to manage our time for studies? How to get more friends? So, we can learn something new from MMS.
MMS also introduce us about administration of Uitm. For examples, Health Department and Finance Department. Besides, it also tell us about the courses that are offered at Uitm. For Uitm Pulau Pinang, the major course is engineering and the other courses are Pharmacy and Hotel Management and Tourism.
Other than that, MMS gives advantage in the field of social life. We can get some of new friends from other countries and so on. So, we can build a new group of study as we make it at school before. Is it interesting, right?
However, I feel sad because some of students still complain about orientation week or MMS. They feel bored and unsatisfied during orientation week. So, how could we do to make it interesting? In short, I think that all of the student must use the opportunity from orientation week to build new life and to be more succesful in the future.Thank you.
Keep in touch:-p
